The legs of the Koshou bench (Japanese for "knock-down") can be removed and replaced by hand.  base and legs are mahogany.  The surface is an amazing piece of 2" thick instrument grade curly maple purchased from Kevin at www.curlymaplewood.com

A table lamp for the Ah Haa summer auction.  Claro walnut, purpleheart and steel with LEDs inset beneath the horizontal member. The little silver button on the top is a four stage metal-touch dimmer. 38.5" long.

A new desktop lamp made from some awfully beautiful figured bubinga.

My favorite model clutching a muffin beneath the bubinga floor lamp that bears her name.
With LED lights inset beneath the horizontal arm, brushed steel and sculpted bubinga, the Arc lamp makes it hard to focus on the boring paperwork that it serves to illuminate.
Finally getting around to posting a shot of one of four benches for the Weigels. I felled the Englemann Spruces and slabbed the logs by hand. They now serve as great rest spots throughout the property. An exhausting, but fun project.
